I’m Jennifer, a user experience designer in Berkeley, CA.

I have experience with the full design process from research to prototyping, but I excel at synthesizing business and user needs into features, information architecture, and creating clean, modern layouts.

I'm a user experience designer with a strong foundation in information architecture. I believe design is about problem solving and that the best designs grow out of thoughtful research. I enjoy working on the details as well as working on the overall design strategy.

My background is in library science, where my career covered information architecture, metadata creation and organization, and providing reference to a wide variety of users.

During my career I've always believed that providing excellent service to people and careful information organization are equally important to ensuring a good experience for everyone. My design process reflects this balance.
